Anne Williams, Arizona
Anne graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from St. Mary’s College of Moraga, CA in 1975. Anne’s professional journey has taken her down “various roads”, most notably a return to the classroom at age 37 to become a licensed paramedic. After serving in the private ambulance sector, Anne worked for the State of California in medical/health disaster planning and response. In this capacity, she participated on a federal team that responded to many disasters: Ground Zero in New York City (2001), Hurricanes Charley (2004) and Katrina (2005), and the Joplin, Missouri, tornado disaster (2011), as well as numerous training and exercise events. Anne continues her work in the public health emergency response arena by providing consulting services, primarily to counties in the State of California. Raised in the Roman Catholic faith, Anne is one of 10 children and was “led by the Holy Spirit” to join Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Rocklin, California. There she studied God’s Word with the Pastors and Deaconess Pamela. Anne is a founding director of both Always Mercy and Rehema Hospice and Clinic. BACK
