OTD Energy Highlights Norway’s Offshore Wind Growth
Norway’s offshore wind initiative has been slow to take off, but with the completion of the Sørlige Nordsjø II tender round and significant announcements expected in 2025, the Norwegian offshore wind industry is set to experience substantial growth in the coming years. Offshore wind is a key part of Norway’s energy landscape, which is why a dedicated area at OTD Energy and multiple events has been allocated to promote offshore wind activities. See the list below:
Offshore Wind Area in Hall C
OTD Energy is building on the success of 2023 by dedicating a special area for offshore wind-related companies in Hall C. This space offers exhibitors a platform to showcase their technologies and solutions to a wide audience from Norway’s rapidly growing offshore wind industry. The Offshore Wind area is strategically located near the Energy Stage, where the Ocean Wind Conference will take place.

The Ocean Wind Conference is a high-level conference showcasing the latest developments in the Norwegian Offshore Wind market. The conference gathered 400 delegates in 2023. The conference takes place on Wednesday 15. October 2025. Register early to secure your place – the conference is free and there are limited places at the conference.

Competence building in offshore wind
A separate meeting will be arranged in the EU project, T-Shore Cove under OTD Energy. It will be for special invitees, but exhibitors can meet the representatives on day 1 in hall C.
WindHub at Energyshow
On Wednesday evening, WindHub is organized during the Energyshow. This is a separate event in DNBArena for networking between professionals in the offshore wind industry. Registration for the event is available for participants at the Ocean Wind Conference. Close to 2,000 professionals will participate at Energyshow.
Equinor Global Supplier Day
Visitors to the fair and participants in the conference will be invited to the Equinor Global Supplier Day. Here Equinor leaders will present the projects and activities going forward and share reflections on implications for supplier markets. There will also be opportunities for Q&A, talking with Equinor representatives and networking. After the plenary programme, you may take part in an engagement session with Equinor representatives. Equinor Renewables will also present its plans at Equinor Global Supplier Day.
