Deaconess Pamela Boehle-Silva, RN Vice President, California
Pamela graduated with a master’s degree in Deaconess Studies from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, in 2011. She serves as a deaconess at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Rocklin, California, providing mercy care to those suffering in body and soul. She has a Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento, in 1983. As a Registered Nurse, she has wide-ranging nursing experience: neonatal intensive care, pediatric oncology, pediatric ICU, public health, home health, and hospice nursing. In 1996, she completed the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod’s Parish Nurse Distance Learning Program and became a parish nurse for Holy Cross. Since 2006, Pamela has traveled to Kenya, Sudan, South Africa, Madagascar, Tanzania, and India, working alongside deaconesses and pastors to promote Christ’s mercy of body and soul. She has been to Kenya many times and continues her mercy work there. Pamela is a founding director of both Always Mercy and Rehema Hospice and Clinic. BACK
